Ingredients :
- 1 tsp mint extract
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 egg
- Hershey's Candy Cane Kisses
- Extra sugar for rolling
Method :
- Combine butter, cream cheese, sugar, egg, and mint extract. Mix together to form a smooth consistency.
- Mix together flour, salt, and baking soda. Add to egg mixture.
- Form 1 inch balls with the dough, roll in sugar and place on baking tray. Bake for 8-10 minutes, cookies will look and feel very soft.
- Immediately after removing from oven, press one Candy Cane Kiss into each cookie, let cool. Cookies are also excellent if chilled in the fridge.
