
Ingredients :
- 6 cup water
- 1 lb Italian Sausage
- 2 cup green lentil
- 3 cup carrots, chopped
- 3 stalk celery, chopped
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 3/4 cup green peas
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 can tomatos, diced
- 2 tbsp beef boulion
- 1 tbsp basil
- 1 tsp sage
- chopped parsley
- 2 pinches thyme
Method :
- Sort and rinse lentils, then add them to the 6 cups water. Bring to boil.
- Brown sausage over medium heat. Add drained meat to the lentils.
- Add chopped veggies to soup.
- Add seasonings and beef boulion.
- Simmer soup for 1 - 2 hours over med/low heat; until veggies are tender.
